We hope you had a lovely break and are looking forward to an exciting half term ahead. Our topic for this half term is based on a text called ‘The Invention of Hugo Cabaret’ which we launched by investigating some images and a rucksack left at a train station containing some mysterious items!

We are very excited to be part of the Great Orchestra Experiment and look forward to performing in this towards the end of this half term! We have really enjoyed learning how to play the guitar and flute.

It is Shakespeare week in the last week of this term. This year we are looking at the Merchant of Venice. We have already watched a brilliant performance by the RSC and we are looking forward to learning more about his play.

The children are doing a fantastic job with earning stars towards their badges and reading at home at least 3 times a week is helping them to reach their reading rewards too, well done!
